Transformational Digital Architecture Leader

The Principal Enterprise Architect plays a pivotal role in driving digital transformation and architecture standards across the NSW Government. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and ensuring the continued delivery of whole-of-government technology and architecture standards.
This position requires strong consulting skills, continuous new challenges to solve, technical expertise, and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people. Key responsibilities include:
- Be a thought leader in how to use current and emerging digital technologies and architectures
- Advise government agencies on breaking down big digital programs/problems using a start small approach
- Create, implement, and measure standards related to platforms reuse, reduction of legacy technology, and emerging technology
- Collaborate across NSW Government with partner agencies and customers to understand strategic problems, linking to existing solutions, synthesizing, and presenting actionable insights
- Contribute to strategies and roadmaps that result in cross-agency seamless customer experiences, increased public servant efficiencies, and industry productivity
