Job Description

As a Research Analyst, you will be part of a national research team responsible for collating and analysing data for designated QLD property markets. Your primary focus will be on tracking a range of property data variables that cover office, retail, and industrial sectors, including vacancy, construction, sales, and leasing transactions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collating and analysing data from various sources to provide insights into QLD property markets.
  • Identifying investment themes and trends through meticulous analysis of market data.
  • Producing high-quality reports for subscriber clients and public-facing research papers.
  • Providing support to clients with their additional enquiries and research requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with desktop software packages (Word, PowerPoint, and particularly Excel).
  • Open to learning new software programs as required.
  • Confidence, positivity, and strong organisational skills.
  • Detail-orientated with a good eye for accuracy, process-driven, and able to meet deadlines.
  • An interest in the financial and real estate industry, with experience working with large datasets highly regarded.
  • Recent graduate or 1-2 years of industry experience.
  • Qualifications ideally as an undergraduate degree in Property, Economics, Commerce, or other related disciplines.
