Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aviation Support Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our operations, you will be responsible for assisting in the receipt and distribution of airline-associated rotable stock, ensuring efficient receiving processes, and promptly resolving any problems or discrepancies.

In this role, you will need to have great attention to detail to accurately manage Airline stock and linen, and be in good physical condition to lift and move items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare airline linen ship sets ready for relevant flights.
  • Sort and change airline pillows/cases ready for relevant flights.
  • Assist in the prompt loading and unloading of bulk products to the warehouse or on to trucks/vehicles.
  • Store, pack, and retrieve goods and materials in accordance with procedures and/or regulations.
  • Allocate and retrieve goods from specific warehouse areas.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist in warehouse stocktake counting.
  • Communicate effectively with service providers and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Australian driver's license.
  • A valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) - or the ability to obtain one.
  • A valid authority to Drive Airside Card (ADA) - or the ability to obtain one.
  • Experience within the Aviation and/or Logistics/Transport Industry.
  • Competence in operational requirements of Cabin Cleaning.
  • Understanding of operational requirements of Ground Handling.
  • Physical fitness to perform lifting and bending tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict timelines.
  • Customer focus to deliver exceptional service.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and meeting deadlines skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
