Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Finisher Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our Lead-In Fighter program, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the appearance, durability, and compliance of aircraft.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify surface repair needs and conduct paint survey inspections during aircraft planned inductions. You will also perform surface finishing tasks, including paint stripping, touch-ups, and corrosion remediation on and off aircraft to meet airworthiness standards.

In addition, you will prepare aircraft and components for finishing, including sanding, cleaning, and masking. You must maintain and operate spray-painting equipment in compliance with regulations and manage consumable materials and tools for surface finishing tasks.

This is a permanent, full-time position that reports to the Structures Team Leader. The successful applicant will have a strong background in Surface Finishing, with experience in the aviation sector working on aircraft or relevant industries involving surface finishing, paint, repairs, and remediation activities.
