Our team is seeking a highly skilled Risk Governance Analyst to join our Enterprise Risk Management department.

About the role

This position involves working closely with the Manager Risk Governance to develop and implement risk management frameworks, risk appetite and risk processes for strategic planning and business decision-making.

We offer flexible working arrangements, allowing you to work from anywhere in Australia near one of our locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in uplifting components of our enterprise-wide risk management framework
  • Performing analysis and gathering requirements to enhance risk-informed decision-making across the organization
  • Producing risk reporting that facilitates monitoring of our risk profile, risk appetite, and risk culture
  • Preparing submissions (internal and regulatory) and providing analytic support to the Manager Risk Governance
  • Coordinating and reviewing APRA correspondence, information requests, and regulatory reviews

About you

You'll have experience in document writing (e.g., methodologies, memorandums, submissions, reports, and policies) and be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements:

  • Able to analyze business and regulatory requirements, practices, and issues
  • A background in risk management and experience in the financial services sector
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent administrative, planning, and time management skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint)
