About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join our team in Newcastle.

This is a permanent full-time position with a 9-day fortnight roster available.

The successful candidate will have a relevant mechanical trade qualification and previous experience with the overhaul, repair, and servicing of mechanical and hydraulic components on earthmoving equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnostic, repairs, and maintenance of new and used equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Preparation and testing of pre-delivery inspections of new equipment
  • Ensuring all work carried out is performed in a safe manner
  • Completion and submission of relevant paperwork and reports
