The Opportunity:

This is an exceptional chance for an experienced HSE professional to provide leadership, advice, and support to teams, projects, and leaders across NSW/ACT. You will be at the forefront of promoting new safety approaches, leveraging your expertise to minimize risks and promote safe work environments.

Lead Effective Systems:

  • Develop and implement effective systems approaches to HSE, providing accurate and timely advice to stakeholders.
  • Lead key influencers, including people leaders and project managers/directors, on fostering and monitoring a positive HSE culture.
  • Develop and facilitate the implementation of HSE risk management processes, ensuring their maintenance and ongoing evaluation.

Monitor and Measure Performance:

  • Monitor and measure HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Investigate, analyze, and report on incidents and nonconformities, implementing process improvements to prevent reoccurrence.

Collect and Manage Information:

  • Collect and manage relevant internal and external HSE information to inform decision-making and drive positive outcomes.
  • Communicate and engage with stakeholders to mitigate risk and optimize worker health and safety and environmental performance.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications with an HSE focus preferred.
  • Previous experience within a similar industry and/or risk profile.
  • In-depth experience in an HSE role, with a strong understanding of safety processes, compliance, and optimization.
