Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and renew curriculum that aligns with industry standards and future workforce needs.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education in aviation.
  • Supervise Higher Degree by Research students and mentor early- and mid-career academics, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct impactful research that advances the field of aviation human factors, informing policy and practice through rigorous analysis and data-driven insights.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry, professional bodies, and regulatory agencies, driving innovation and growth in the aviation sector.
  • Lead the growth and development of a dynamic and collegial aviation team within our School of Engineering, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
