Strategic Technology Consultant

About This Role:

As a Strategic Technology Consultant, you have the unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions. The consultant has a direct impact on customers by helping them navigate complex technological landscapes and achieve their business goals.

The role provides a platform to build and strengthen relationships with specific customers, enhancing a bidirectional relationship and ensuring the customer's technology journey is successful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic partnerships and build trusted relationships with customers, technical stakeholders, and decision-makers
  • Provide technical thought leadership and insights into industry trends and their relevance to our customers
  • Understand assigned accounts' current use cases, challenges, and opportunities and the value the solution brings to their business
  • Contribute to the broader team's technical mindshare
  • Serve as an external spokesperson and evangelist for Cloud Software Group's vision and associated technologies
  • Assist with overcoming technical and competitive objections and accelerates the technical evaluation component of the sales cycle by maintaining a solid understanding of competitive technologies and how to position to 'win'
  • Build complex, multi-product proof of concept solutions for customer evaluations
  • Drive the adoption and consumption of Cloud Software Group products by working with Customer Success & internal stakeholders
  • Formalize and deliver a strategic customer technology roadmap that identifies customers' needs and requirements that can be translated into actionable opportunity proposals, operational requirements, high-level designs, and customer success plans
  • Provide regular updates on assigned accounts to Sales & ATS management
  • Engage and leverage the wider team where appropriate to help manage and deliver the best customer outcomes
  • Work independently with limited oversight and communicate effectively with parties within and outside of own job function

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Strong understanding of business processes and their implementation into enterprise applications
  • Analytical and negotiation skills, particularly at the C-level
  • Ability to work independently and in a strong team environment, and to deliver on detail as well as strategy
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Possesses a high level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge
