About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Employment Coach to join our team at SYC. As a Senior Employment Coach, you will play a key role in empowering and motivating a small team of Employment Coaches to drive the best employment outcomes for job seekers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Site Manager: Proactively support the Site Manager to effectively manage day-to-day site operations to achieve all agreed targets and site KPIs.
  • Manage Caseload: Manage the end-to-end process of a caseload of participants to achieve sustainable outcomes.
  • Provide Expertise: Provide expert operational advice, coaching, and support to all site employees.
  • Build Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with employers, relevant stakeholders, and participants.
  • Reverse Marketing: Reverse market to employers and broker opportunities for participants to achieve sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Individual Case Management: Provide individual case management support, facilitating participant development tailored to overcome their barriers to employment.
About You

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, enjoys creating a positive working environment, and is able to develop their leadership skills, manage change, and innovation in service.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write timely and accurate communications, project notes, and reports.
  • Effective Collaboration: Effective collaboration skills with colleagues, such as providing expert advice, coaching, and support as required.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivation and initiative, with well-developed organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in training, developing, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
Requirements
  • Working with Children Check: Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
  • Eligibility to Work in Australia: Be eligible to work in Australia.
