We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Specialist to join our team at NGARE EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS PTY LTD. As a key member of our Automation & Control Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions and leading projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Engineering Projects: Collaborate with our Lead Engineers and Project Managers to ensure project requirements are consistently met.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Offer leadership, guidance, and coaching to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver projects.
  • Develop Engineering Designs: Utilize comprehensive knowledge and skills to develop detailed engineering designs using appropriate methods, tools, processes, and software.
  • Manage Project Outcomes: Identify and meet the needs of internal and external customers, focusing on project outcomes and delivering results.
  • Develop Tenders and Bids: Develop tenders and bids, and manage work to budgets.
  • Review and Check Work: Capable of detailed review and checking of others' work within own discipline.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience: Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience in O&G, Mining & Minerals, and/or Infrastructure/Utilities.
  • Advanced SCADA Design: Demonstrated experience delivering process control systems for mining, water, and gas infrastructure projects.
  • Engineering Qualifications: Degree-level qualifications in Electrical, Control Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Programming Skills: Exceptional design and implementation skills for PLC and RTU platforms, and experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, VB, and VBS.
  • Industry 4.0 Knowledge: Application of industrial internet/Industry 4.0 to leverage the power of smart machines and real-time analytics.
