About The Role
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Male Health Practitioner.
Key Responsibilities
- To liaise with clients, clinic staff, and external health services to provide effective care coordination and referrals.
- Deliver culturally appropriate health education and promotion activities to the community.
- Monitor and report on Aboriginal health needs and support public health programs implementation.
- To work closely with General Practitioners and clinic staff in healthcare planning and primary care tasks.
- Collect and manage health data for service delivery improvement.
- Buildeffective relationships with clients and promote healthy lifestyles.
- Ensure effective communication and continuous improvement across health services.
- Engage clients in screenings, tests, and follow-up care as needed.
Mandatory Requirements
- Certificate of Aboriginality.
- Identification as Male.
- Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice).
- Previous experience in Aboriginal Health is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of specialist medical, allied health, and support services locally.
- Australian Drivers Licence.
- Working With Children Check.
- Proof of COVID vaccination.
- National Criminal Record Check.
