About The RoleA great opportunity exists to work in the newly established Aboriginal Community Connections Team as an Aboriginal Health Worker – Transition to Practice.
The Aboriginal Health Worker - Transition to Practice works as a key member within a multidisciplinary team, providing flexible, holistic and culturally sensitive care, information and support to clients supporting the Aboriginal community to access services, while working towards meeting requirements for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner.

Responsibilities- Work as a key member within a multidisciplinary team, providing flexible, holistic and culturally sensitive care, information and support to clients.
- Assist the Aboriginal community to access appropriate services.
- Support progress toward meeting requirements for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner.
- Current Aboriginal Health Practitioner or eligibility and intention to meet registration requirements with AHPRA; current Aboriginal Health Practitioners are encouraged to apply.
