Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance strategy development and optimisation.

The role involves:

  • Facilitating continuous improvement of asset maintenance strategies across the business
  • Providing defect eliminate process support and guidance to operational teams
  • Delivering periodic independent review of operations capital request submissions
  • Coordinating a continuous program of work to develop and update equipment refurbishment specifications
  • Supporting risk and assurance team in defining appropriate actions resulting from plant insurance audits
  • Providing guidance for CMMS team to optimise process and master data support improved reliability
  • Engaging and maintaining strong relationships with site teams through regular site visits and interactions

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
  • 10+ years of experience (operational experience with fixed plant assets in the resources sector is preferred)
  • Well-developed interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
  • A strong understanding of reliability principals and processes (FMEA, RCM, RCA, DE, statistical analysis methods)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and optimising asset maintenance strategies
  • Reliability qualifications and formal training preferred
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP preferred)
