Injury Management Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Injury Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Return-To-Work strategies across Australia and New Zealand, working closely with injured team members, business stakeholders, and insurers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Injury Management objectives across Australia & New Zealand
  • Capture Injured worker data to enable effective treatment and rehabilitation options
  • Design return to work strategies for injured workers
  • Provide incident insights to enable effective decision making
  • Assist injured workers with Workers Compensation claims
  • Promote incident response actions including notification of all injuries
  • Drive continuous improvement of policy and procedure to achieve better outcomes
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated competency in Return-To-Work duties
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Deep understanding of Australian Workers Compensation and Privacy Legislation and Return-To-Work regulations
  • Familiar with Workers Compensation legislation for all jurisdictions across ANZ
  • RTW Coordinator's certificate - essential
  • Relevant tertiary diploma and/or degree - advantage
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint - essential
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Positive and engaging manner with all internal stakeholders with a pragmatic approach
  • Ability to interact effectively with external stakeholders including insurers, insurance broker representatives, medical professionals and solicitors
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with superior attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Fully vaccinated in COVID-19
