Just Automotive Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fitter General to join the team at Maxitrans, Australia's leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality engineered road transport equipment and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
- Perform workshop repairs and maintenance, including new machine pre-delivery preparation and inspection.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality services and resolving issues promptly.
- Contribute to a safe and quality-focused work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with the spare parts team to determine the necessary parts for repairs and complete tasks within reasonable time frames.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong technical background and experience in diesel engines, fuel systems, steering systems, transmissions, brake systems, hydraulic valves, and electrical systems.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical problems.
- Good team spirit and experience working in a small team is an advantage.
