Principal Technical Specialist

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in transforming our site through strategic capital improvement projects.
In this influential position, you will partner with plant leadership to deliver projects that drive operational excellence, utilizing your expertise to develop robust project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to lead meaningful initiatives from concept to completion, ensuring every project is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
This includes leading and managing plant engineering projects, including equipment installations, process improvements, and facility expansions, ensuring timely and effective project delivery.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing the site's 5-year capital plan with a focus on safety, obsolescence management, asset life extension, and driving technological innovation.
Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to clearly define project requirements, scope, deliverables, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include creating, monitoring, and reporting on project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress, including conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments, and identifying solutions to overcome challenges.
Supervising and technically supporting project teams to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and safety regulations, resolving project issues and bottlenecks promptly.
Preparing detailed project documentation and reports, reviewing and validating technical drawings and manuals, and traveling as needed to support project delivery and foster a culture of high service, proactive problem-solving, and respect.
