As a Clinical Expert in Gastroenterology, you will be responsible for providing clinical management and consultation services to patients with conditions related to this field. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality clinical services to patients with gastroenterological conditions
- Participate in on-call rosters to ensure 24/7 coverage
- Supervise and educate junior medical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Engage in quality assurance activities at both departmental and district levels
Requirements:
- Specialist qualifications in Gastroenterology or equivalent recognition
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues
- Ability to lead and supervise medical trainees and residents
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement methodologies
Skills and Qualifications:
- Conjoint approval for Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) procedures
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
