Marketing Coordinator Role

Cricket Australia is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support engagement with multicultural communities and drive fan and community participation in cricket. This role plays a key part in coordinating digital activities, community events, and associated projects to grow connection and affinity with Australian Cricket.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement digital activities through various channels, creating engaging content and monitoring page performance.
  • Develop a content strategy to leverage storytelling opportunities and maximize owned and earned channels for growing connections and affinity with Australian Cricket.
  • Build effective social and digital initiatives and explore new avenues for digital growth and following.
  • Establish clear guidelines for content moderation to ensure a positive user experience.
  • Support the delivery of Australian Cricket's Multicultural Action Plan, including initiatives aligned with digital marketing and community engagement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community engagement events for multicultural communities, including cultural and community events and trophy tours.
  • Build relationships with multicultural community groups across the cricket season.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in marketing and communications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications: e.g., Communications, Marketing degree
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and managing multiple accounts and pages
  • Passion for content creation and connecting with diverse audiences
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solving problems efficiently
  • Strong understanding of different cultures and communities, effectively communicating with a wide range of audiences
