Job Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Information Security Specialist to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality security operations services.

  • Perform specialist security operations functions, collaborate with managed security service providers, and support the delivery of security operations services.
  • Support and uplift security incident response and threat response functions within the Security Operations team.
  • Maintain relationships across Technology and project teams, risk and compliance teams, managed service providers, and external security consultants for the delivery and increasing the maturity of security operations services.
Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Specialist knowledge of information security threats, network and web protocols, security devices, and operating systems.
  • Technical understanding of a range of Information Security platforms, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, HIDS/HIPS, Endpoint Protection, Detections and Response, XDR tools, Firewall technologies, Identity, Access, Governance, Privileged access management, Vulnerability scanning, File integrity monitoring and data loss prevention, Certificate management, Cloud Security, Incident and change management, and Detailed understanding of security incident response processes and frameworks (e.g. Mitre ATT&CK).
  • Good time management skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Able to work in a cross-functional team environment.
