Information Security Specialist for Defence SystemsAt the heart of our operations lies a commitment to delivering comprehensive project delivery and mission execution for Defence customers. A talented team of information security experts works diligently to ensure the protection of Defence systems, information, and assets.The role requires leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) to guarantee Defence compliance with ISO 27001, ACSC Essential 8, and Defence Security requirements.
  • Risk assessments and vulnerability management are conducted to ensure appropriate information security controls are in place to safeguard Defence systems and data across their lifecycle.
  • Information security policies, procedures, and best practices are developed and enforced to protect Defence IT infrastructure and systems against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Cybersecurity frameworks are implemented and maintained to ensure compliance with national and international information security standards.
Ideal candidates possess tertiary qualifications in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines. A minimum of five years of experience in an Information Security role, preferably within Defence, Government, or similarly regulated industries, is also desirable.
