PDHPE and Sport Trainee Opportunity">

The PDHPE and Sport Trainee role is an exciting opportunity for a young adult to support the development of sport, recreation, and fitness at St John Paul College.

This 12-month position will work closely with the Leader of PDHPE, Leader of Sport, and Leader of Internal Sport to provide students with various opportunities.

The successful applicant will attend sporting trips, complete training courses, and develop their skills in coaching and organizing sport.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of sport, recreation, and fitness programs
  • Attending sporting trips and events
  • Completing training courses and professional development
  • Coaching and organizing sport teams

Applicants must have a current NSW Working with Children Check, comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy, and be enrolled in a Certificate III in Sport and Recreation.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, personal initiative, and the ability to motivate youth.

They must also be self-motivated, organized, creative, trustworthy, committed, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Applications must include a personal resume, details of sporting and fitness interests, experience in coaching and organizing sport, and three referees.
