The City of Newcastle and the NSW Government have developed the draft Broadmeadow Place Strategy to guide future development in the area. This significant project aims to provide opportunities for additional housing, jobs, and population growth, as well as a world-class sports and entertainment precinct.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Senior Strategic Planner, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact by managing the development and currency of strategic urban planning strategies, instruments, policies, plans, and reports from inception to adoption by the City of Newcastle and implementation associated with the development and progression of the Broadmeadow Place Strategy.

**What You'll Achieve**

* Manage the development and currency of strategic urban planning strategies, instruments, policies, plans, and reports
* Contribute to the creation of a world-class sports and entertainment precinct
* Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals
