Job Title: Stone Benchtop Installer

This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for overtime as a skilled stone benchtop installer.

  • Determine the requirements of blueprints and plans to ensure accurate stone selection and installation.
  • Procure materials and supplies such as stone Dekton marble porcelain ceramic etc. and maintain inventory control.
  • Plan and prepare for installations, including site clearance and setup of equipment.
  • Install stone Dekton marble porcelain ceramic etc. in specific arrangements ensuring alignment apply sealants or mortars between and remove excess.
  • Apply finishes to increase durability.
  • Cut install construct and polish where applicable stone Dekton marble porcelain ceramic etc. to specifications using manual and industrial tools and machines.
  • Repair and restore damaged stone slabs Dekton marble porcelain ceramic etc.
  • Finish stone surfaces for products such as kitchen benchtops and bathroom vanities using cutting grinding polishing and laminating techniques.
  • Liaise with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain a safe working environment adhering to WHS best practice.
To Be Successful In This Position You Will Have
  • Experience with processing and installing engineered and natural stone benchtops.
  • Formal qualification in Stonemasonry Certificate III preferred but not essential if you have at least 2 years of experience in Stonemasonry.
  • A drivers license and Construction White Card.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a positive attitude.
  • Natural problem-solving skills.

Ensure compliance with health safety regulations and company policies.Requirements:

Qualification in Stonemasonry Certificate III preferred but not essential with relevant experience.

Proven track record in stone masonry and natural stone benchtop installation.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Working Conditions:
