Underground Explosive Transport Specialist

The primary function of this role involves operating a mechanized vehicle (MCU) underground. The MCU vehicle is used to transport and load explosive materials into blast holes at the George Fisher Mine, Mt. Isa.
Key Responsibilities- Operate an MCU vehicle in an underground setting;
- Deliver and load explosive materials into designated blast holes;
- Prior experience working in underground mining environments is essential;
- A valid heavy rigid vehicle license (HR or HC) is preferred;
- Experience with electronic blasting systems can be advantageous;
- Demonstrated strong customer orientation skills are required;
- A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety protocols;
- Current security clearance or ability to obtain QESCC clearance within a specified timeframe;
- Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen;
