About Underground Blasting Operations
About the RoleThis position is for an experienced operator to work underground at a mine site. As the Operator, you will be responsible for operating an MCU vehicle to deliver explosive materials into blast holes.
Key Responsibilities- At least 2 years of experience in underground mining; Heavy rigid vehicle license is required;
- Operating an MCU or similar product delivery vehicle is preferred;
- Familiarity with electronic blasting systems and strong customer service skills are advantageous;
- Able to maintain a high level of safety awareness and adhere to all health and environmental protocols;
- Current security clearance or ability to obtain prior to commencement;
- Able to pass a full Pre-Employment Medical check including drug and alcohol screen.
