Paediatric Speech Pathologist Vacancy

About the Role

This permanent full-time opportunity is available in our rural health service. You will be responsible for providing quality speech pathology assessment and treatment to patients in the Far West Local Health District, including outreach to towns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide paediatric speech pathology services to patients aged 0-17 years old.
  • Deliver services individually or in groups, face-to-face or virtually, in various settings such as health services, community health centres, schools, and consumers' homes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Speech Pathology eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Evidence-based practice and critical thinking skills, with ability to conduct generic adult services when needed.
  • Ability to plan, advocate for, and coordinate client care within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and sharing expertise with colleagues.
  • Ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and families to improve outcomes.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and proficiency with relevant software.
  • Valid unrestricted driver's licence for NSW/Australia.
