About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Part Time Customer Service and Sales Associate to join our team at Beacon Lighting in Burwood.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to retail and trade customers, offering expert advice on lighting solutions.
  • Promote and expand our Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop strong product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Achieve and exceed personal sales targets, contributing to the success of the store.
  • Support other team members to ensure business goals are met, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain the overall presentation of the store through merchandising and general housekeeping, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Contribute to community outreach and charitable initiatives, enhancing the company's reputation and social responsibility.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a retail environment, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a passion for delivering results.
  • Competency in POS systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to adapt to new technology.
  • The capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the role.
