Job Description:

As a Retail Sales Associate - Interior Design Expert, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, while also developing your knowledge and skills in interior design and sales. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on their lighting needs and preferences
  • Developing strong product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
  • Achieving and exceeding personal sales targets through effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Supporting other team members to ensure business goals are met and exceeded
  • Contributing to the overall presentation of the store through merchandising and general housekeeping

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in sales or customer service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of your job, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Competency in POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise your work effectively, while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a genuine passion for interior design and sales, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a drive to deliver exceptional results and exceed expectations.

Salary: $45,000 per annum (pro rata), plus performance-based bonuses and incentives
