As a specialist in court services, you will be responsible for supporting the Corrections and Justice Services group.
The Dame Phyllis Frost Centre operates a needs-based precinct model, with prisoners accommodated in precincts aligned to their identified needs.
This position involves utilising your operational expertise to handle, process, store, and retrieve prisoner property, providing advice on legislation and policy regarding appropriate property, and processing new prisoners into the prison or releasing existing prisoners to freedom or for court appearances.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling, processing, storage, and retrieval of prisoner property.
- Providing advice on legislation and/or policy regarding appropriate property.
- Processing new prisoners into the prison or releasing existing prisoners to freedom or for court appearances.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Well-developed computer literacy skills.
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
- Understanding of store and warehousing operations including associated stock management, delivery/service requirements, and OHS practices.
