About the Role:This specialist mining technology expert plays a critical role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of cutting-edge mining systems across global operations.
- Provides technical support for mining technology and automation systems.
- Maintains system performance, leads configuration and improvement efforts.
- Develops project support documentation and internal knowledge resources.
- Collaborates with OEMs and manages service level agreements.
- Leads upskilling initiatives through competency plans and support tools.
- Contributes to change management and successful rollout of new technologies.
- Fosters strong relationships with key stakeholders and promotes commercial alignment.
- Supports audits, cost reviews, and development of standardised processes.
We seek an individual with 5-7 years' experience in surface and/or underground mining.
- Strong knowledge of mining systems, automation, and operational technologies.
- Hands-on experience with mining tech implementation, control room systems, or maintenance.
- Understanding of IT systems, networking, and ERP platforms such as SAP.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with a keen eye for detail.
