**Dental Hygienist Role Summary:**
A Dental Hygienist is responsible for performing dental hygiene assessments and treatments, educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices, taking radiographs (X-rays), and assisting dentists in managing dental emergencies and procedures.
This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work within Australia, and hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to exceptional oral health care and be able to maintain accurate and detailed patient records. They will also stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene assessments and treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Assist dentists in managing dental emergencies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements:
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration
