Overview of the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly skilled Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient and accurate financial operations.

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage accounts payable, process supplier invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming phone calls and assist with Finance department inquiries.
  • Enter supplier invoices into TSM and prepare job cards for Accounts Receivable, complete credit applications.
  • Assist with month-end duties, including preparing supplier pay runs and ensuring correct bank details in MYOB.
  • Ensure accuracy of supplier profiles in TSM and MYOB, manage filing/archiving, and provide general administrative support.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to clients via phone to discuss their needs, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve client issues and deliver high-quality service.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years' experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with IT systems, including Microsoft Excel.
