Accounts Payable Professional

This role is responsible for managing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices. The Accounts Payable Officer will work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Matching, batching and coding a high volume of invoices using SAP software.
- Preparing, allocating costs to correct general ledger accounts, and paying weekly bills in a timely manner.
- Reconciling bank and supplier statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Handling the accounts payable mailbox and coordinating with suppliers as needed.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and resolving any queries or issues that may arise.
- Supporting the month-end process with additional tasks as required.
Requirements:
- A self-motivated and hardworking individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience working in a standalone role and confident autonomously managing day-to-day activities.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including vlookup, pivot tables, and sumif functions.
- Experience using SAP software is highly advantageous.
