Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Officer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the production of traceable products.

About the Role:
  • This is a challenging position that requires a high level of expertise in quality assurance, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record of enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the production of traceable products by adhering to GMP and HACCP protocols.
  2. Coordinate regulatory and third-party audit trace activities.
  3. Conduct audits within the manufacturing area to confirm that all trolleys, stainless steel tubs, and product receptacles are bar-coded or tagged with an ID.
  4. Verify accurate entry of product flows into the system.
  5. Receive raw materials at designated receiving docks and assign SSCC features with NSI barcodes.
  6. Test the traceability system annually from raw materials to finished products and back.
  7. Conduct mass balance traceability every six months for assured status products.
  8. Participate in internal audits and mock recalls.
  9. Identify and report concerns arising from trace exercises.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as food science, quality control, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP and HACCP protocols.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
