Senior Employment Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Employment Lawyer to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished legal professional to work in a collaborative environment with strong leadership and mentorship. The ideal candidate will have a passion for employment law and a desire to make a real impact.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide workplace relations advice to member organisations
  • Handle grievances, investigations and dispute resolution
  • Carry carriage of employment litigation and tribunal matters
  • Draft and assist with enterprise agreements and negotiations
  • Deliver training and webinars to members and the internal advisory team
  • Mentor junior advisors and review legal publications
  • Liaise with barristers, unions and regulators on key matters
Requirements:
  • Admitted as a solicitor in Australia
  • 3+ years' PQE in employment and workplace relations law
  • Advocacy and negotiation experience
  • Strong communication skills with a plain-English approach to legal issues
  • Commercial mindset and practical client-first approach
  • Proactive, responsive and collaborative attitude
