Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Field Technician to join our team in Hervey Bay. In this autonomous role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining nbn products and services. You will work on various field tasks across all nbn technologies, ensuring seamless connectivity for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering, and splicing.
  • Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE).
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE.

You will have the opportunity to work in multiple environments, both internal and external, and will be provided with a company vehicle, laptop, tools, uniform, and phone or device allowance.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent customer service skills, honesty, integrity, and self-management. A current and clean driver's license is also essential.
