About the Role

We are seeking a skilled International Business Performance Advisor to join our team at Westpac Institutional Banking. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing end-to-end business performance insights, strategic advice, and solutions for our WIB International business.

Working closely with teams across the globe, you will be responsible for supporting financial planning and analysis to senior management, managing relationships with key functions in Australia, and driving process efficiency across international locations.

Some of your key accountabilities will include:

  • Supporting the international forecast and clearly identifying key risks and opportunities.
  • Working with lines of businesses and treasury to prepare the international balance sheet forecast, monitor regulatory and management risk settings.
  • Driving continuous improvement and simplification opportunities across international locations.
  • Delivering timely and accurate reporting and analysis, including commentaries.
  • Providing strategic advice to the business.
  • Supporting offshore finance teams in delivering key objectives.
  • Timely and accurate forecasting and reporting (monthly/quarterly).
  • Supporting the operation of international ALCO and supporting inputs into WIB ALCO and Group ALCO.
  • Coordinating with international finance teams offshore to deliver common objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Planning and forecasting experience.
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Financial services experience.
  • CA/CPA qualified.
  • Reporting systems experience (Oracle, TM1, Cognos) – desirable.
