Job Description

About this role:

This is a hands-on opportunity for an emerging Geologist who thrives in underground environments and enjoys seeing the direct impact of their work.

You will play a key role in daily mining operations, working with our mining contractors to maintain safe production, while minimising ore loss and dilution.

Key responsibilities include geological mapping, stope inspections, and validating haulage data using industry-leading software such as Deswik and Leapfrog.

Additionally, you will work closely with all mining and technical stakeholders to maintain geological integrity and support mine planning functions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You are a qualified Geologist or Geoscientist with experience in underground gold mining, ideally 2–6 years, and ready to take the next step.

Confidence in geological mapping, stope inspections, and validating haulage data is essential. Proficiency in industry-leading software such as Deswik, Leapfrog, and geological databases is also required.
