Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to support the Geotechnical Engineering team in a dynamic underground mining environment. As a Mine Technician, you will be undertaking underground inspections, managing QAQC data, maintaining and expanding our seismic and subsidence monitoring systems, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data to the Geotechnical team.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking underground inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Managing QAQC data to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Maintaining and expanding our seismic and subsidence monitoring systems to provide high-quality data to the Geotechnical team

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Manual driver's licence and Working at Heights ticket (or willingness to obtain)
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills and confidence using mobile apps for data entry
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growing within the company
