Clinical Manager

This is a newly created leadership opportunity in the aged care services sector. As a subject matter expert, you will provide strategic direction and management to a team of Home Care Package Facilitators, ensuring quality outcomes are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical guidance and mentorship programs to ensure best practices in clinical care are followed.
  • Lead the coordination of clinical needs assessments of HCP consumers to ensure needs are met and regularly reviewed.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of clinical care related policies, procedures, and frameworks as they relate to clinical standards and practice - contributing to quality improvement of systems and processes.
  • Actively contribute to the clinical governance framework and incident management systems by reviewing existing clinical risks, complaints and feedback, and providing relevant recommendations.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports for Senior Management on a regular basis.
  • Create opportunities to provide education and training to relevant teams within the organisation.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Registered Nurse Level 3 (RN3) under the Nurses Award 2020.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Proven abilities in policy development and business process / clinical practice improvement.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in community nursing or a non-profit setting, although this is not essential - what is more important will be your fit for the values and culture of the organisation.
  • Someone who is proactive, self-motivated and solutions-focused.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to best practice.
  • High level of cultural and emotional intelligence.
