Laboratory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Manager to join our team at ALS. As a Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Geochemistry laboratory, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the laboratory team, including staff recruitment, retention, and development
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results
- Collaborate with clients to understand their testing needs and provide personalized solutions
- Optimize laboratory operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ALS policies
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of laboratory operations and quality control procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Experience in managing a laboratory team and developing staff
- Postgraduate studies in a relevant field, such as chemistry or geology
