About the Role

Anton Murray Consulting is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Services Assistant to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our asset management team, you will provide administrative support to our Executive team and contribute to the success of our private property investment group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executive Team Support
    • Plan and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
    • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials.
    • Provide administrative support to the Executive Directors, including responding to emails and phone calls.
  • Finance and Accounting
    • Process invoices, monitor payments, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
    • Prepare and reconcile expense reports, and assist with general ledger reconciliations.
    • Assist with financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting.
  • Office Management
    • Provide general support to office visitors and meetings.
    • Maintain electronic filing systems and update office policies and procedures.
    • Coordinate functions and initiatives, and provide administrative support as needed.
Fundamental Requirements
  • Prior experience working in the property industry is highly desirable.
  • Tertiary degree in a relevant field is looked upon favorably.
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Bookkeeping experience and proficiency in accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero, are highly valued.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are necessary.
