About the Role

As a Habit Coach at Everyday Independence, you will be responsible for implementing therapy plans provided by primary therapists. You will work with participants across all ages and stages of life, supporting them in developing greater independence and working towards reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support NDIS participants in their homes or community locations, promoting healthy habits and independence.
  • Work under the guidance of primary therapists, implementing therapy plans and adapting to individual participant needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for participants.
Requirements
  • Studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year) or holding a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance with relevant experience.
  • Consistent availability to work, with a minimum of two days per week available for afternoon routines.
  • Ability to travel to regional and surrounding areas, with a valid Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence, empathy, and communication skills, with a passion for working in the disability sector.
