Six Degrees Executive is a reputable recruitment agency based in Australia, seeking a highly skilled Business Finance Specialist to support their client's finance team on a 6-month contract.

The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic FMCG environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving financial performance improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Briefly describe key responsibilities of the role including:
  • Building relationships with operations teams for timely factory performance reporting and improvement actions;
  • Collaborating with the finance manager to continuously review factory performance and drive enhancements;
  • Assisting in developing product costs for the portfolio, providing insights for key decisions;
  • Helping influence strategic decisions by identifying cost assumptions, risks, and opportunities;
  • Using product data to reduce variances between expected and actual performance;
  • Collaborating on annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly performance reports;
  • Providing training and coaching to improve operational costing understanding among business leaders;

 

**About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the FMCG environment;
  • Advanced Excel skills and preferably familiarity with Dynamics 365;
  • A high level of attention to detail, proven quality, and accuracy of work;
  • Proactive research, analysis, and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment;
  • A true team player with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.

 

**Salary and Benefits:**

This exciting opportunity comes with a competitive salary estimated at $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
