About the Role

The Assistant Manager School Pathways is a key leadership position within TAFE SA, responsible for leading the operational and strategic requirements of the application, onboarding, enrolment, and academic progress processes across the VET pathways for Secondary Schools lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of operational policies and processes to ensure consistency of service and consideration of future and emerging service needs.
  • Provide expert advice and produce high-quality reports for Executives, including analysis of operational data and trends.
  • Manage the efficient and effective management of operations, including the identification, escalation, and resolution of challenges.
  • Foster and facilitate regular internal and external stakeholder engagement to deliver timely, strategic, fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Develop and implement improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of services.

Requirements

  • Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including out-of-hours work during peak periods.
  • Ability to travel to alternative locations, including intrastate and interstate travel.
