Role Overview

We are seeking a Global Operations Travel Coordinator to support our teams in delivering safe, reliable and inclusive accommodation and transport services. The successful candidate will work closely with the Superintendent People Logistics within the Integrated Services Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel planning, forecasting, scheduling and demand v capacity coordination
  • Shutdown and project mobilisation travel planning, forecasting, scheduling and end to end travel coordination
  • Travel bookings and service optimisation
  • Travel disruption recovery
  • Custodian of key stakeholder relationships across workforce, community, and contract business partners
  • Travel data analytics
  • Frontline coaching and support for people logistics and contract business partners

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Operational or People Logistics settings across complex organisations
  • Influencing others in health and safety principles and behaviours
  • Experience working with travel booking systems (e.g. SAMS / Inflight) and dashboards and add-ons and the suite of Microsoft programs
  • Strong appreciation for customer service and operating perfection
  • Exceptional communication and presentations skills and ability to engage across a range of levels
  • Analytical problem solver demonstrating business acumen
  • Diverse customer engagement including constructive challenge and building trusted relationships
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and remain calm under pressure
