Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, managing the company's financial operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective financial policies, procedures, and systems to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting;
  • Manage the company's financial ledger, reconciliations, and period-end close process;
  • Oversee the preparation of statutory obligations, including BAS returns, FBT returns, and annual tax returns;
  • Lead the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury teams to ensure efficient and effective operation;
  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improvement;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal controls;
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions;
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange, and treasury risk management;
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate accounting or a related field;
  • Advanced degree in Accounting or a related field (e.g., MBA);
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, AAS, and Australian tax laws;
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality financial results and driving business growth;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks;
Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Sydney, Australia.
