Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to fill the role of Apprenticeship Development Officer. As an Apprenticeship Development Officer, you will play a key part in spearheading business development, driving apprentice commencements, and exceeding KPIs through exceptional account management and support activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting traineeships and apprenticeships, securing commencement opportunities
  • Participating in marketing and promotional initiatives, including school visits and other venues
  • Fostering relationships with employers, RTOs, and industry stakeholders
  • Maximizing business opportunities with existing clients
  • Staying updated on policy changes and new initiatives
  • Guiding clients through sign-up processes and government forms
  • Providing quality account management services
  • Ensuring precise system data entry
  • Providing initial and ongoing support to Australian Apprentices, including facilitating face-to-face progress contacts
  • Administering effective tests to assess individuals' skill levels, identify gaps, and evaluate aptitude for various training paths and occupations

  • Proactive go-getter who can self-manage to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks at hand
  • Confidence working autonomously and drive to exceed KPIs and targets
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations
  • Demonstrated business development or sales experience
