Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Emergency Management Coordinator to join our team.

This key role involves coordinating the development and continuous improvement of strategic emergency management, focusing on quality and building divisional resilience to minimize the impact of emergencies on health services, aged care, and community organizations.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Emergency Response team to provide a single point of contact for the Emergency Management and Regional Public Health (EMRPH) branch, supporting preparedness planning, capability development, and building resilience to minimize the impacts of health emergencies.

Key responsibilities include developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as health service executives and senior management, program and policy areas within the department, and other organizations to support preparation and response to health system incidents.
